Biography
Michelle Handelman is an award-winning filmmaker and Guggenheim Fellow. Her work has been shown in the Georges Pompidou Centre, Paris; Institute of Contemporary Art, London; American Film Institute, Los Angeles; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; and on PBS. Her latest video project, Irma Vep, the last breath, is now on exhibit at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University.
